Hi there!
I am an applied microeconomist (in training) completing my PhD at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
My projects investigate how knowledge and innovation affect people and government decision making. I am fascinated by nineteenth and early twentieth-century American history, so much of my work leverages data and institutional settings from this period.
I also develop theoretically motivated (but intuitive and easy to use!) text classification tools.
