Philosophy & Consortium Agenda:
Welcome to the annual workshop of the Multiscale And Multi-Model Approach for MaterialS In Applied Science consortium (MAMMASMIAS consortium). The consortium is organised by researchers based in several different European institutions, and aims to provide a common, international platform to researchers sharing similar views on how the research should be performed. The fundamental principle of this consortium is to provide a collaborative framework for the young researchers, that can exchange, bind, and find their own additional collaboration path, with the mantra "the friends of today might be collaborators of tomorrow".
The scope of the workshop is to take stakes of the latest progresses and open challenges, to share ideas, and to brainstorm on possible future directions of the research efforts. One of the key components of the consortium is the common intersection of specific interests, problematics, investigations, and tools used in our research. The debate and diffusion of ideas regarding these topics is an automatic outcome of the MMCC workshops.
The workshop is organised as a series of contributed talks, mainly devoted to early-career investigators, and more general and perspective contributions. Several slots are also booked for further discussions, focused on specific questions and topics.
