Mount Moosilauke ATV Club

MMATVC was formed in 2002 in Warren, NH by our founding President Vern Brigham, in response to the Town Selectmen closing the trails and roads in Warren, NH to all OHRVs. In a town of 800+/- people, over 200 showed up at the next Selectmen's meeting. It was agreed that without a club and some structure to the trail system that there was a fair amount of "outlaw" riding going on. They agreed to reopen the trails and land based on a trial basis if a club was formed and the trails were signed, maintained and patrolled. Setting up the club, while no easy task, has led to some great times with some excellent people.

As President Vern and many volunteers created a club that turned into a family. Traditions and achievements were made that to this day the club continues to enjoy and value. They started the mission of this club which is to maintain and provide a family friendly trail system for the use of OHRV's. This was accomplished by working together with the local town, the state, and our invaluable landowners.

Once Vern was ready to pass the torch, he handed it over to President Andy Grignon. Andy continued to guide this club in the same direction, and he did so in a way that made volunteers feel that family connection and purpose. Andy, with the help of volunteers, continued the club’s mission. Andy encouraged club involvement, helped us grow, continued to support the community, and expanded our trail system. 

It is an honor for me to now be President of MMATVC especially when it was previously led by two amazing men who I look at as mentors. I too want to continue our mission with our amazing volunteers as without them this would not be possible. My hope is for this club to continue to be a family that encourages individuals to get involved and supports the community. Thank you to everyone for having faith in me to be in this role and work with such an amazing club!

We hope you enjoy the trails and ask that you ride with respect for our community and our landowners.  All of our members are volunteers who participate because of their love for the sport. There is no better way to help your local club, then to join and be active!
