This Privacy Policy describes how Money Manager ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
We do not store your financial data on our servers. Your financial data stays on your device unless you choose to use optional AI features.
Some optional AI features may send receipt images, voice/audio, text, or uploaded files to our Cloudflare Worker or similar secure proxy service. That service forwards the request to an AI processing provider to extract transaction details.
All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. This includes:
Transactions (amount, category, date, notes, attached photos)
Budgets and budget settings
Recurring expenses and subscriptions
Account information (account names, balances, currency)
App preferences and settings
We do not back up your financial records to our servers. Optional AI features may transmit only the content you choose to submit for processing, such as receipt images, voice/audio, text, or uploaded files.
When you use optional AI features such as receipt scanning, voice input, text-to-transaction, or file upload, the App may send the content you choose to submit to our Cloudflare Worker or similar secure proxy service.
This may include:
- Receipt images you capture or select
- Voice/audio recordings you choose to submit
- Text you type into the AI assistant
- Uploaded files, such as receipts, PDFs, or bank statements
The proxy service forwards the request to an AI processing provider to extract transaction details. AI providers may change over time. We do not use this proxy service to store your financial data.
AI processing providers handle submitted content according to their own privacy policies and terms. The current provider may change over time.
These features are optional. If you do not use them, this content is not sent for AI processing.

You can revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time. Revoking only disables the related feature and does not affect your stored data.
The App does not:
- Track your location
- Collect device identifiers (IDFA, AAID)
- Require an account, email, or login
- Share data with advertisers or data brokers
- Use advertising or analytics SDKs
Optional AI features may send user-selected content to an AI processing provider only for transaction extraction.
Because all data is stored locally, you are in full control:
To delete individual records, remove them inside the App.
To delete all data, uninstall the App or clear its storage in your device settings.
Once local records are removed from your device, they cannot be recovered by us because we do not back up your financial records to our servers.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Because we do not store your personal data on our servers, most data-subject requests (access, deletion, portability) are fulfilled directly by you on your device. For questions, contact us below.
Your data is stored in an on-device database. We recommend:
Using a device passcode or biometric lock
Keeping your operating system up to date
Not installing the App on jailbroken or rooted devices
Data sent for optional AI processing is transmitted over HTTPS.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. A future version may introduce optional cloud sync. If that happens, we will update this policy and notify you inside the App before any financial records are synced to cloud storage.
