mmahingu ("I", "me", or "my") built the mmahingu.ai - AI Voice Chat app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by me and is intended for use "as is".
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use my Service.
1. 100% Offline Core Functionality (Zero Data Collection)
The core architecture of mmahingu.ai is built on absolute privacy. All AI processing happens 100% locally on your device hardware.
No Chat Logs Collected: Your conversations, generated text, and interactions with the AI models are stored strictly on your local device and are never transmitted to my servers or any third-party servers.
No Voice Data Collected: When you use the voice dictation feature, your speech is transcribed entirely offline using local neural networks. Your raw audio recordings are never transmitted to the cloud, saved, or used to train external AI models.
2. Information Collection and Use (Permissions)
For a better experience while using my Service, I may require you to grant the app certain permissions. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.
Microphone Permission: Required to capture your voice for speech-to-text transcription. The audio is processed locally in real-time and immediately discarded.
Storage / Photos / Files Permission: Required so you can optionally load local files (like custom GGUF AI models, PDFs, or images) into the app for the AI to analyze. The files never leave your device.
Internet Permission: The app requires internet access exclusively for:
Downloading AI Models: To download the open-source neural network files (LLMs, TTS voices, STT engines) from public repositories to your local device.
Processing Subscriptions: To securely communicate with Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to verify your Premium subscription status.
3. Third-Party Services (RevenueCat & Google Play)
While the AI engine is completely offline, the app uses third-party services for processing in-app purchases and managing subscriptions. These services may collect information used to identify you for billing purposes.
I use RevenueCat to manage the Premium subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous App User IDs and purchase histories to validate subscriptions across your devices. RevenueCat does not have any access to your AI chats, voice recordings, or local files.

4. Security
I value your trust in providing me your Personal Information (which is limited strictly to billing interactions via Google Play). However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security. The best security I offer is the "offline-first" architecture—if the data never leaves your phone, it cannot be intercepted.
5. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 18 has provided me with personal information, I will immediately delete this from the associated services. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided me with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to take necessary actions.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update my Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
