Our Story
Our Story
Founded in 1966 by Master Gary Schroeder, a program created so everyone regardless of their background could train martial arts, striving to keep the program as inexpensive as possible through the years. As a Police Officer Master Gary wanted to help the community, one way was helping guide high risk people to use the outlets of Martial Arts. Through the years it went through a few location changes, now residing in Roosevelt Community Center. In late 2016 sadly Master Gary passed and Coach Eldred Nunn was asked by the family to keep MMAG running. Coach Nunn has kept the same informal style, extended family culture and trust in the gym as Master Gary did.
