What is Xello?

Xello

A program designed to help students determine their academic and career plan (ACP) for after high school.Students utilize Xello to build personalized plans for the future, and the skills and knowledge to persist. These academic and career plans, or ACPs, are the GPS to your student's future goals. Students are required to complete assessments and lessons on Xello in order to earn credit and a passing grade for the semester.

WHAT IS ACP?

ACP is Academic and Career Planning. Part of this plan is using Xello to help students find their interests in careers and then to use that information to find out what colleges and careers to explore to promote a healthy transition to their dream career.

9th and 11th grade will have ACP conferences. This is when the students and their counselor (hopefully parent too) sit 1 on 1 to discuss the pathway to college and career and make their high school plan tailored to their needs.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

The Milwaukee Public Schools College and Career Centers assist all Milwaukee-area students in grades 6 through 12 (and beyond) with FREE support. Twenty school-based centers are open during regular school hours and after school (select locations) for postsecondary planning and access help.
