3D ARTS & CONCEPTS
This course covers the concepts and techniques on creating three-dimensional (3D) arts in 3D Blender Software. It is designed to familiarize with the process, tools, and software associated to three-dimensional animation. These include the creation and modification of three-dimensional geometric shapes, applying material and textures; rigging and skinning, animated assets before rendering; and the use and manipulate of camera and light sources. It exposes the student to the standard production process of animation industry.
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
Acknowledge the concepts of three-dimensional arts
Recognize the usage of 3D-orient projects to the information age
Distinguish the process of creating 3D animated films
Familiarize the navigation of 3D Blender Software application
Apply predefined and customizes materials and texture to 3D assets
Design a digitalized 3D meshes using variety of modeling techniques
Make a synchronize pose-to-pose movement of 3D modeled character and equivalents
Produce a rendered three-dimensional imagery and model game-ready assets.
COURSE CONTENTS
INTRO TO MATERIALS
What are materials in Blender and how they define the appearance of 3D objects?
What are the different material properties (e.g., color, roughness, metallic) and how do they affect the look of an object?
How do you apply textures to materials, and what role do image textures play in creating realistic surfaces?
