Google Meet was first heavily utilized during the remote teaching during Covid. While this is still a tool that can be used if a student is not able to come into class, you can also use the software to record sessions to post later. Google Keep does not work directly with Google Classroom, but is a great tool for teachers. It integrates with Gmail and Google Calendar, so it would not be surprising if Google added functionality in Google Classroom in the future. This tool allows you to "keep" things for the future that you may want to revisit when you have more time, or things that you frequently need to access. Think of Google Keep as sticky notes that you would keep around or a copybook with important notes. It allows you to organize your life and can be a real time saver. You can create notes, drawings, and tag images.
1) Go to the Google Waffle and click "Keep".
2) Type in your note.
3) Click the options you would like to create the note with.
4) Watch the video for more options and ideas on how Google Keep can be used with your classroom.
