Flying Horse Big Band: An Artist's Frame for Orlando

UCF’s premier jazz ensemble, The Flying Horse Big Band, play the world premiere of An Artist’s Frame for Orlando, composed by UCF jazz director and band leader, Jeff Rupert. This multi-movement work for jazz ensemble is a retrospective of Orlando, from the perspective of an artist.
Percussion Invitational + Concert

Eight high school percussion ensembles are invited to the Percussive Arts Society's competition and festival, cliniced and evaluated by members of the Sympatico Percussion Group.
Concert features a set performed by the UCF Percussion Ensemble, directed by Thad Anderson. Followed by a performance of featured guest artist the Sympatico Percussion Group

UCF New Music Ensemble: Zodiac

A new evening length work composed by members of the UCF Composition Studio and performed by the UCF New Music Ensemble. Inspired by the structural makeup of Steve Reich’s minimalist classic Music for 18 Musicians, this concert unfolds in a stunning arc, from the opening and closing “Pulsar” movements to the 12 sections representing each of the zodiac signs.

Part of Theatre UCF's Pegasus Play Lab 2025: A devised theatre project that brings together students with and without disabilities to create a theatrical piece about childhood and nostalgia inspired by participants’ early memories and using the source material “Millions of Cats,” the oldest picture book still in print.

As a student participating in Federal Work Study, I am employed with Theatre UCF and work directly alongside Resident Production Electrician Kevin Barkman. As an Assistant Electrician I have helped create and organize the electrics inventory, soldered various projects, and participated in hang and focus calls not just at UCF, but also Dr. Phillip's Center's Walt Disney Theatre and Steinmetz Hall alongside IATSE members.

Unique Challenges: started on this production as an intern, then promoted after I stepped up to run rehearsals when both the director and PSM got COVID, long non-consecutive run, managing brush up rehearsals and cast coverage
