Welcome to Modeling for Laser Processing Technology Laboratory! Nowadays, Laser-Based Manufacturing technology has created a profound impact on the development of the industry revolution 4.0. Laser processing technology plays an essential role in various industries, ranging from Metal 3D Printing, Laser Welding to Laser Dicing for Semiconductor industry. With the help of numerical model, we can gain insights into the complex interaction between laser and material and find a strategy to optimize the processing conditions.
Our lab focuses on exploring the physical phenomena of laser processing technology through computer simulations. We also employ Artificial Intelligent (AI) algorithm and Data Analytic for optimizing processing conditions in Laser Processing technology. In addition, we have built long term partnership with several companies in the industry to develop software for machine vision and robotic applications.
