The Canadian Federation of Library Associations' Indigenous Matters Committee created this document to guide libraries in fulfilling the Truth and Reconciliation Committee's Calls to Action and to work towards reconciliation as a whole. The document includes 10 recommendations for libraries.

Western's first Indigenous Strategic Plan was approved on November 24, 2016. Our project supports many of the institution's goals in this plan, most notably the goal to "excel in Indigenous teaching and learning."
