Want to inspire your library users to make productive and positive use of Wi-Fi and mobile phones and the wealth of information out on the web? In this activity, you'll find and collect links and images that show the opportunities opened up by mobile devices and Wi-Fi, especially in a library.

You: MEH

You: Nothing really. Mixed feelings. It's harder than I expected

Me: You talking about Wi-Fi, mobile devices, ebooks or life in general?

You: Ha ha. I'm talking about mliteracy. I'm not convinced that this technology effort is worth it

Me: Perhaps. Look around. I see many examples of negative use of phones and digital media

You: So why do we need to involve librarians in technology.

Me: There are many positives of using technology and we can contribute towards making a better digital world

Me: Look for links to social publishing projects. I've collected a few of them at linktr.ee/mliteracy

You: Okay

You: And then?

Me: Share what you have found.

Me: You can write them on a piece of paper, collect them in an app (like Google keep) or post them to social media
