Retired Orthopod, identifying as Texan, living in the Pacific Northwest. Currently serving as PaPa to my grand-daughter. My father was also a surgeon, who loved woodworking, and making/fixing things. I also developed that passion, and have done many hobbies through my lifetime. I'll add in some marathons, and triathlons when I was in my 30s. I dabbled with woodworking, when I had a shop, but for that past few decades have been doing DIY audio gear. I built a couple of tubed projects by ANK Audio Kits, including an amplifier, and DAC. More recently, I did several DIY designs from Pass Labs, and FirstWatt. I have one of those amps left, having sold off most of my gear before moving up to Seattle. We have been here a year, and I am starting to get the creative spirit again.
