1st Announcement of ML-4

We are pleased to inform you that “The 4th International Conference on Mechanoluminescence and Novel Structural Health Diagnosis (ML-4)” will be held on December 13-15, 2023, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea.

ML-4 has been postponed due to the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic since 2020. However, we are confident that by December 2023 this situation will have improved considerably and the organizer will be able to offer a conference format that is commensurate with the health requirements.

The conference is dedicated to bringing together researchers, academics, and practitioners from around the world to share their latest findings, developments and challenges in the field of Mechanoluminescence and Novel Structural Health Diagnosis. For the purpose, the conference schedule will include selected plenary lectures & invited talks and welcome oral presentations or poster exhibitions on the following topics.

1. Fundamentals, synthesis, and characterizations of ML 

2. Multifunctional stimulated luminescent materials

     - Piezoelectric materials and applications

     - Piezo-Photronics materials and applications

     - Bio materials and applications

3. Novel applications of ML

    - Motion biometrics to secure signature, voice, and walk

    - Electronic & photonic-skin for human, humanoid, and robot

    - ML-induced photo-catalyst, light pump and full color display, etc

4. Emerging topics related with ML

5. Multi-scale Structural Health Monitoring

6. Applications on Noise, and Vibration Engineering

We believe that your expertise and knowledge in this field would provide invaluable insight and stimulation to the attendees.
