About Workshop:

The workshop will focus on evident understanding of Machine learning and Computer Vision with hand on practice using MATLAB. The Course begins with an introduction to Machine learning algorithms and basic understanding of MATLAB environment for common purpose. Then, implementation of machine learning algorithms in MATLAB would be followed in practical sessions. Further, Session on Computer vision will concern automatic feature extraction, understanding of useful information from a single image or a sequence of images and analysis. Its emphasis will be to develop theoretical and algorithmic basis to achieve automatic visual understanding. Overall, the workshop will emphasize on building profound conceptual understanding, covering common mistakes with exhaustive practical experiments and edge cases.

Target Audience:

Student, Researcher, Faculty members, Developers, Data Scientists/Data Analysts and Young Engineers.

Prerequisites:

Basic experience in programming for doing practical exercises and basic knowledge of statistics and linear algebra is helpful. We assume no prior knowledge in machine learning, Computer vision and MATLAB software.

Maximum number of seat is 40 only.

Note:

Only limited number of seats are available. Selection is based on shortlisting after pre-registration. Tea will be provided on every day (Morning and evening session) of the Workshop. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for accommodation. No TA / DA will be provided. Decision of Convener would be final & binding for shortlisting of participants for workshop.
