We welcome undergraduate and graduate (Masters or PhD) students to participate in our to register for our 24-Hour Hack 4 Justice as a part of the Machine Learning Symposium on Justice in Education, Healthcare, and Public Policy!
We’re looking for bold ideas, creative implementations, and critical thinking around how AI/ML can help remove real barriers to access and participation in education, healthcare, and public policy. Whether you are a coder, theorist, designer, or thinker, this hackathon is about rethinking what “accuracy” and “equity” really mean when justice is the goal.

How does it work?:
Your challenge and avaliable dataset will be announced at the conference
Create your teams of up to four (4) students.
Register to attend the Machine Learning Conference on Justice in Education, Healthcare, and Public Policy **All team members must be in-person for the hack and must attend conference activities.
Finalize your teams and register for the Student Hack 4 Justice, which cannot change within one week of the conference (except for approved emergencies).
Join us at the conference with your computer, water, blanket, and excitement!
Take 24 hours to ideate, build, and submit, food will be provided, swag will be distributed!
During the conference, the team will present their ideas. [If a team member cannot present, must contact organizers to inform at least 1 week in advance, unless due to an emergency]
Winners will earn a scholarship, runners-up will earn prizes!
