We are currently partnering with The Point Adams, originally MLB 36391 for public education.
The MLB 36391 was built in 1934 at the Coast Guard yard in Curtis Bay, Maryland.
She served at Point Adams Lifeboat Station in Hammond, OR from 1934 to 1955.
Sold out of service, she changed hands multiple times and underwent extensive modifications.
She was eventually purchased by Glen Cathers and Naomi Fisher, who began restoring her to original service condition. The restoration took over 6 years, bringing the boat from this:
to this:
Cathers and Fisher currently tour the Point Adams in various locations around the United States.
