Marilisa Kroon (she/her) is a Curaçaoan and Dutch stage manager based in NYC. She is interested in new plays and musicals that explore and celebrate cultural and social diversity. She is particularly passionate about works that uplift immigrant, queer, and differently abled stories. With a background in the arts as well as a love for business and organization, she combines artistry and effective management in every project.
Marilisa has calling and deck experience in theater, dance, and live events. She is graduating this year from the BA Stage Management program at Pace University with a minor in Sociology and Anthropology. Marilisa presented her thesis, Stage Management & Ethically Staged Intimacy, for the Pforzheimer Honors College this May. Up next, Marilisa is heading to Illinois for Timber Lake Playhouses' 2026 Season!
Beyond theater, she enjoys learning to play new instruments, cooking, and being with her cat (Diva).
