Dr. Manoj Kumar Kar is working as a senior assistant professor in the Electrical & Electronics Department at Tolani Maritime Institute Pune. He received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from BPUT Odisha in 2010; his M.Tech. degree in Power Electronics & Control Drives from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, in 2014; and his Ph.D. from NIT Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, in 2022. He has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience. His Research Interests include Power System Stability, Power System Optimization, Reactive Power Planning, Congestion management, Planning of FACTS Devices, Multilevel Inverters, etc. He has published many research papers in reputed journals, book chapters, and international conferences. He has also worked as a reviewer for different journals, like Computers & Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science and Technology, an International Journal, Energy Reports, Alexandria Engineering Journal, Decision Analytic Journal, Journal of Energy Storage, Applied Energy, the Journal of Circuits, Systems, and Computers, the Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, Journal of Electrical Engineering, e-Prime- Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Energy, International Journal of Power Electronics & Drive Systems, International Journal of System Assurance Engineering & Management, International Journal of Applied Power Engineering, etc. He has also reviewed many IEEE and Springer conference papers.
