This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications ("Apps") developed and published by MKHG Lab on the Google Play Store. By using any of our Apps, you agree to this policy.
We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.
Our Apps are designed to operate entirely on your device. No personal information, files, photos, documents, usage data, or any other content from your device is ever sent to our servers or any third party. Our Apps do not require account registration, login, or any personal information to function.
Some Apps may request device permissions to provide their core functionality. These permissions are used solely on-device and never to collect or transmit data. Typical permissions and their purposes include:
Only permissions relevant to a specific App's functionality are requested. You can review and revoke any permission at any time via Android Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Permissions.
All operations performed by our Apps happen entirely on your device:
Any data accessed (files, sensors, usage stats) is processed in-memory and never stored externally
App preferences and settings are stored only in local app storage on your device
You can clear all App data at any time via Android Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Clear Data
StepCounter offers an optional Google Drive backup feature. If you choose to enable it:
Your Google account email address is used solely for authentication via Google OAuth
Your step history (step counts, distance, calories, active time) is uploaded to your own private Google Drive app-data folder, which is only accessible by this app and is not visible in your Google Drive UI
No data is sent to MKHG Lab servers — it goes only to your personal Google Drive
You can sign out at any time from within the app, which disconnects Drive access
You can delete the backup file by revoking app access at myaccount.google.com/permissions

Our Apps do not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash reporting SDKs unless explicitly stated within the specific App's description on the Play Store.
Where a third-party service is used, it will be listed in the relevant App's Play Store listing, and that service's own privacy policy will apply to data it processes.
Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through any of our Apps, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
All data remains on your device by default. When Google Drive backup is enabled (StepCounter), data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS to your personal Google Drive. No data is ever sent to MKHG Lab servers. Your device's own security (screen lock, encryption) protects any locally stored preferences.
For StepCounter users with Drive backup enabled, you can delete your backup data by revoking app access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions or signing out from within the app. You retain full control by:
- Revoking permissions via Android Settings at any time
- Clearing App data via Android Settings → Apps → Clear Data
- Uninstalling the App to remove all locally stored data
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date above.
Continued use of any of our Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
