I am honored to be nominated as a candidate for President-Elect of IEEE Canada (R7). I started as a student member and I have been an IEEE member for 34 years. I have been an active IEEE volunteer for over a decade holding many executive positions. I have been a member of the IEEE Canada Board for the past four years and a member of the Executive Committee for the past two years. I had the opportunity to obtain an in depth understanding of how IEEE Canada operates and the challenges facing us. I am well prepared to handle the demands and challenges of the President-Elect position.
