I went to Arrowhead Union High School and just recently graduated University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. My biggest take away from my experience in Vector was the interactions I was able to have. I got to connect with people and customers that have helped shaped my future career. I met people that I connected to on a deeper level then just who I went to school with or know my family. The position allowed for me to build my soft skills which is something every job looks for and I know when I walk into a room I’ll have no issue interacting with anyone from any age/demographic group. Having this confidence lets me know I’m prepared for any walk of life I choose.
I went to West Bend West High School and then to Trinity Christian College. I took away so many life lessons but if I were to choose just one it would be the habit I built of holding myself accountable. The harder I worked, the more I gained from this position so it was all about holding myself accountable and putting in as much effort as I could. No one was going to do that for me but myself. I am constantly using that skill and it has provided me with so much success already!
I started working with Vector a few weeks before graduating high school at West Bend West. I am now a senior at UW-La Crosse studying Marketing and Healthcare Analytics Management. I owe my confidence, positive attitude, and work ethic to my experience over the past 4 years working with Vector. Soon after I started, I quit my 2 other jobs because Vector helped me realize that simply needing to show up in order to get paid was not leading me on a path towards both greater income and personal growth. As an 18 year old, I didn’t think it was possible to be promoted or have an impact on my income, but you really do get out what you put into this job. After working hard and hitting promotions, I was given the opportunity to run an office at the age of 19. Running my office was both scary and difficult, but if you never get out of your comfort zone, you’ll never grow. It just so happens that with Vector I was able to gain this amazing experience while also making enough money to pay for my college. I am extremely grateful for my experience and the opportunities this company provided me. One of my favorite quotes is “Do what others won’t so tomorrow you can do what others can’t.” It is difficult at times, but if it were easy everyone would be doing it. I highly recommend applying, the managers and office culture are also very fun.
Hi! I’m Liz Tripi and I graduated from Brookfield East High School and currently study Chemical Engineering at UW Madison. Working with Vector showed me how big of an influence you can be to someone with a positive mindset. I began working for vector the summer before I went off to college. I was already working two other jobs, so I needed a job that allowed flexibility in scheduling my hours. I was a bit nervous as I have never been into marketing, but when I joined the team, I was invited with excitement and joy. Vector provided me with the necessary skills I would need to succeed at the job. Surrounding yourself with those who have a similar mindset and work ethic as you aspire to have is important. The best way to learn how to do something, is work with someone who has successfully accomplished your goals. I saw myself growing in confidence, and it was obvious to those around me as well. I talked about how much I loved my job, how flexible it is, and how amazing the people I work with are. It wasn’t too long until all of my friends wanted a job! I was asked to come back as an assistant manager, mainly working on recruiting more team members. I had 9 personal recruits join the team, making work even more fun, but most importantly I was influencing their lives! We were surrounding eachother constantly, pushing us to compete and work harder in the job. Working with Vector provided me with a steady income, while helping teach me values I can use among many other positions and allowing my friends to grow with me as well.
One thing that Cutco has taught me is that you’ll have be more outgoing to succeed. During my work at Cutco, I quickly came to realize that I would be meeting a lot of new faces. With these new faces came a multitude of personalities that I would be interacting with as well. To some people that alone would be out of the norm. Cutco gave me the platform to break away from the norm of today and has given me the skill to be sociable to not only my peers, but to consumers as a whole. Not only will this help me as I further my education in business, but it also gives me real world skills that are invaluable. I’m grateful to have been a part of a great team that has been supportive throughout my time at Cutco! And I have Chris Nicoud, Eliza Priest, Marissa Miller, and Ryan Robbins to thank for always being the rocks that kept me steady.

My time with Vector laid the foundation of my growth as an individual and professional immensely. The demos we executed specifically taught me just how to build trust between an individual and myself in order to successfully offer them a service/sell the product. I also learned how to remain composed under adversity. These are crucial skills that I know I will have to apply to my future jobs and the future roles that I possess.
Hi, my name is Evan Mitchell and I have been working with Vector since May of 2018. I graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in 2017 and currently attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where I am studying sustainable systems management and cello performance. My time with Vector has not only deepened my understanding of self, the motivating factors in my life, and what it takes for me to succeed, but has also opened me up to a growth mindset and connected me with some incredible people looking to better themselves on a daily basis. The past two and a half years have been invaluable in my life journey and I am very grateful for the opportunities and growth this job has provided.
My name is Adam Steingraeber and i worked in the Brookfield office from 2018-2020. I graduated from Waukesha North High school in 2017 and I am currently a junior in college at the university of Dubuque studying Sports Marketing and Management. In the office, I went from sales rep to assistant manager to sales manager. From my time there, I learned how to effectively schedule my time, how to dream big and accomplish goals, and how to genuinely connect and build deep meaningful relationships with people.

In my opinion working at Vector is one of the best jobs to have as a college student. The work environment is so laid back, and the people I met while working there were awesome. The income opportunity is unlimited and you really learn how to make connections and build relationships at an early age. I really learned how to manage my time and set up a weekly schedule which is useful in every field.
