Software and Technology Resources for BSU Students

• Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus is available free for BSU students.  Each software package includes Microsoft Word and Excel.  To download and install (click here).  The software is also available for free on campus computers.

• Mathematica is available to Ball State Students for free.  For access information (click here).  Note that this also provides access to an online web-based version of Mathematica (part of the Wolfram Cloud).

• Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud storage solution from Microsoft.  As part of your Ball State Office 365 account, all Ball State students, faculty and staff have online storage on OneDrive.  Utilizing OneDrive provides you with an easy way to store and access your Ball State work as well as share files with others.  To access and find out more about OneDrive (click here).

Exam 1 will be given in-class on Friday, 9/19/25, at 3:00 - 3:50 pm.  It will cover the material from Sections 6.1 - 6.4 and 7.1 - 7.4 (Lectures 1 - 8, relevant textbook readings, and WebAssign homework).  Electronic devices, including calculators, are not to be used during this exam.
