Welcome to my website! I'm Mariz Khoury, an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in financial management, internal auditing, and entrepreneurial ventures. Based in the dynamic city of Las Vegas, Nevada, I am passionate about helping businesses optimize their financial operations and achieve sustainable growth. I am also virtually available throughout the US.
My Journey
I began my career as a CPA at Coopers & Lybrand in Fort Worth, Texas, one of the prestigious Big 8 accounting firms. During my time there, I honed my skills in auditing and financial analysis, gaining invaluable experience that would shape my future career.
Financial Expertise
From 1993 to 1998, I worked at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where I served as an Internal Auditor, Financial Analyst, and Assistant Controller. These roles provided me with a deep understanding of financial management, internal controls, and strategic financial planning.
Entrepreneurial Ventures
Since 1993, I also worked at Khoury Corp, a Rent-A-Car business in Las Vegas, managing all financial operations until 2006. Following this, I established Khoury’s Mediterranean Restaurant, where I have been responsible for all aspects of the business, from operations to financial management.
Professional Services
Currently, I am a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, assisting clients with their accounting needs using QuickBooks Online. My extensive experience in both corporate and small business environments allows me to provide tailored accounting solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
