Effective October 7, 2026. Applies to the Multi-Keyword Highlighter browser extension (version 0.1.0 and later), published by the developer named on its store listing for Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox.
Short version: we collect nothing. Your keywords and the pages you highlight never leave your browser.
What the extension reads. When you turn highlighting on for a tab, the extension reads the text of that page inside your browser to find your keywords. It does this only after you click its toolbar button or press its keyboard shortcut on that tab, or on the one site you chose for auto-apply and allowed in your browser's prompt. What it reads is not saved, logged, or sent anywhere.
What the extension stores. Your keyword lists and settings: list names, keywords, colours, the whole-word and match-case options, and the site you chose for auto-apply, if any. They are stored with the browser's local extension storage on your computer. They are not synced to any account, and we have no copy. They stay until you delete them in the extension or uninstall it. Uninstalling removes them.
What the extension sends. Nothing. It makes no network requests. It has no analytics, telemetry, crash reports, ads, tracking or remote code, and no server.
Sharing. We don't sell, share or transfer any data, because we don't receive any.
Children. The extension doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Paid features. The extension has no paid features today. If a paid version is ever offered, this policy will be updated before then. The update will say exactly what, if anything, the extension stores or checks to confirm a purchase.
Changes. Any new version of this policy will be published at this address, with a new date, before the change takes effect.
