Mary is a ROCK STAR in so many ways! Her love for teaching technology resonates in her daily lessons with students as well as in her presentations to fellow educators. Mary makes it her personal goal to learn as much as she can and pass her knowledge and love for technology to as many people as she possibly can. I truly enjoy watching Mary in her element...she was born to be a technology teacher!

Mary is an engaging presenter who can think on her feet and adjust to the needs of her audience. She has a thorough knowledge of G Suite for Education and how to use G Suite creatively and effectively in the classroom. Mary has achieved Google Certified Educator Levels 1 and 2 and Google Trainer.

In addition, Mary continues to seek opportunities to improve her skills. She participates in an online PLN on Twitter and is an active participant in many educational Facebook groups. I find her willing to help wherever and whenever she can. She shares her skills and knowledge freely.

Passionate about technology, Mary has sought and completed professional development opportunities outside of school, resulting in opportunities to teach conference workshops and professional development in Owosso and other districts. Mary’s technology “bug” and her heart to help others led to spending many hours of personal time teaching other teachers/staff how to use what she’s learned, whether for use with/by their students or navigating through the choppy waters of professional evaluation tools, grading/attendance programs, teacher web pages, or other applications used by the school district. Her knowledge, patience and upbeat personality made the difference between success and frustration to a number of our staff.
