Model assembly and detailing will vary based on model size. All pricing is intended for HO scale model trains. If added details are pre-made or in a kit, this will influence pricing. If you don't see pricing that applies to your desired project, please contact me!

Fixed rate assembly and detailing:

Model weight adjustment: $10 per car

Standard freight car brake rigging (box car, reefer, gondola, flat car): $40 per car

Specialty freight car brake rigging (tank car, hopper, caboose): $60 per car

Wire grab iron replacement:  $35 per car

Boxcar door replacement: $30 per car

Flatcar real wood deck replacement: $20 per car if kit is included, pricing varies if no kit is included or exists.

Roof Walk/End Platform: $20 per car

Cut levers and brake hoses: $30 per car

Diesel locomotive full detailing (prototype specific body detail, underbody detail, roof detailing, fan/horn replacement) :
$100 per locomotive base (pricing will increase based on project complexity and paint requirements)

Diesel locomotive brass handrail replacement: $80 per locomotive

Diesel locomotive cab/hood replacement: $80 per locomotive (pricing can increase based on paint/decal complexity)

Pricing based on HO scale (1:87.1) and is subject to change if modeling a different scale or modeling something other than trains.

HO scale rate:

Painting and decaling undecorated car (real prototype) : $60 + price of decals if not included

Painting and decaling undecorated car (freelance): $75 + price of decals if not included

Re-painting and decaling decorated car: $115 + price of decals if not included

Patching car: $25 + price of decals if not included

Detail decals (ACI, COTS, Lube plates, conspicuity tape): $20 + price of decals if not included

Painting and decaling undecorated diesel locomotive (real prototype): $90 + price of decals if not included

Painting and decaling undecorated diesel locomotive (freelance): $105 + price of decals if not included

Re-numbering diesel locomotive: $25 + price of decals if not included

Re-lettering or re-numbering steam locomotive: $50 + price of decals if not included

All services include painted wheels. Pricing based on HO scale (1:87.1) and is subject to change if modeling a different scale or other model genre. I'm not confident in my graffiti abilities just yet so it is not included here. If youre looking for graffiti and are ok with pre-made decals, check above for pricing.

HO scale rate:

Freight car light weathering (thin layer of dirt and grime): $35 per car

Freight car medium weathering (light rust pitting, early streaking, load leakage, scrapes): $55 per car

Freight car heavy weathering (heavy rust pitting, full body streaking, body damage): $85 per car

Passenger car light weathering (thin layer of dirt and grime): $45 per car

Patching car: add $25 + price of decals if not included to price of car

Diesel locomotive light weathering (thin layer of dirt and grime): $60 per locomotive

Diesel locomotive medium weathering (heavy grime build-up, fuel leakage, light streaking): $95 per locomotive

Diesel locomotive heavy weathering (extreme grime build-up, fire damage, evidence of extensive repair): $125 per locomotive

The ready to run bundle (Diesel locomotive only): $220 per locomotive (pricing can increase based on project complexity)

The branch beauty bundle (Diesel locomotive only): $295 per locomotive (pricing can increase based on project complexity)

- Decal work (patches, renumbering, and details)
- Heavy weathering (extreme grime build-up, fire damage, evidence of extensive repair)

The fleet bundle (freight car only): $500
-Medium weathering for 10 freight cars

Track Plan pricing is heavily based on layout or module size, complexity, and detail. A simple free-mo module might cost as low as $50, where as a 1000sqft basement empire might cost upwards of $1k. Contact me with details and we can get started on the process. The track planning process tends to proceed as follows:

• You reach out with your initial idea and some basic details (scale, dimensions, skill level, desired prototype, and extra requirements)

• I send you some basic questions to hone in on the exact wants and don't-wants of your dream layout, as well as request any research or photographs you want replicated

• I send a few options for a mainline only track plan to hone in on your preferred layout

• Once a mainline is selected, I being to flesh out yards, facilities, industries, and general scene locations

• You request any final tweaks to the plan at this stage

• I send the finalized track plan with scenery and important measurements
