I am a Professor of Personality and Cultural Psychology specializing in the study of mental well-being, psychosocial functioning, emotion, quality of life, and optimal aging. My research explores the roles of personality and culture in these outcomes across diverse societies. With more than 200 publications based on data from five continents, I seek to advance a global understanding of human behavior.
I have expertise in data analysis and survey design, teach applied statistical methods, and offer statistical consulting services.
I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from the School of Psychology at Victoria University of Wellington in 2013.
