MJC ADN Program

Congratulations and welcome to the Modesto Junior College Associate Degree Nursing Program!

Hello! my name is Allison Sampson the Course Coordinator for the first semester of the program.  Your decision to become a Registered Nurse is the first step to a profession that is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.

The Modesto Junior College Nursing Program has a long history of academic excellence and inspiring our graduates to achieve their highest educational and professional aspirations.  We will be intentional about an equity-minded approach to helping you achieve your goal of becoming a registered nurse.  Our program is student friendly with dedicated faculty and staff who are dedicated to the success of our students.

How do I maintain success in the program?

Attend class.  Be on timeBe prepared.  Take the time now to arrange for work, childcare, and any other items you may need to address before starting the program.  We understand you have a life outside of this program however; the expectation is you are dedicated to contributing the time and effort to be successful.  This program is time intensive and demanding.  The faculty understand how overwhelming this experience may be, but we are here to support you!

Okay, here we go!
