According to German laboratories, soles are one of the major factors in microplastic problem. I was shocked by this fact.So, I researched and developed soles that decompose naturally and designed them by combining special environmentally friendly leather.I hope these shoes will be your first step toward caring about the negative impact we give on the environment without our knowledge.

フラウンホーファー環境・安全・エネルギー技術研究所によると摩耗した靴底はマイクロプラスチックの出所第7位、1人あたり年間100gも排出しているそうです。一般的なスニーカー、紳士靴、婦人靴のほとんどの靴底が該当します。

ソール素材には植物性なめしの革と天然ゴムを用い問題解決に取り組みました。山口産業株式会社様よりご提供頂いたハギレ、靴の制作時にでてしまうハギレをミッドソールに、アウトソールには適した硬さになるように粉末状の革と天然ゴムを混ぜ合わせています。
I worked on solving the problem by making the sole from vegetable tanned leather and natural rubber.For the midsoles, the leather offcuts provided by YAMAGUCHI SANGYOU Co.,Ltd. and the leather offcuts when making shoes are mixed with natural rubber. The outsoles are mixture of powdered leather and natural rubber to have a suitable hardness.
