Melted metals are reference of the ugly emotions and complexes that everyone carries. We live hiding it so that no one can see it. How would you feel when you find out about that part of your loved one? Would you be able to adore and seek beauty in it? Or will you be disgusted by it?

作品のコンセプトの根幹になったコラージュです。このコラージュを作った時に、「見えないからこそ美しい」ということを発見しました。特に人間関係において、見なくていいことや知らなくていいことがこの世にはたくさんあります。

様々な種類の金属が全て溶け合った時点で火を当てるのをやめると、色も形もバラバラな物体が出来上がります。美しいと感じる人もいれば、汚いと敬遠する人もいるのではないでしょうか。私にとって、人間が持つ負の感情もこの物体と同じです。

丁寧に仕上げを施された金属が醜く汚れた金属を隠すようなデザインになっています。私達人間もこのジュエリーと同じように、本当の姿を隠しながら生きています。
