Biography

I’m a graduate student at the Department of Linguistics at the University of Tokyo (Tokyo, Japan).

My field of research is Norwegian grammar. I’m particularly interested in motion verbs, argument structure, agreement, and copula constructions.

Methodologically, I gather empirical and quantitative data by conducting elicitation, experiments, and especially corpus research.

Importantly, I analyze linguistic data from typological and constructionist perspectives. By doing so, I aim to contribute not only to the studies of Nordic languages, but also to theoretical issues.
