Lengpui Airport - Thenzawl

Arrive at Lengpui Airport, meet the group and introductions.
Begin the scenic drive through Mizoram’s winding mountain roads.
Continue towards Thenzawl, a peaceful hill town surrounded by lush green landscapes.
Ease into the slower rhythm of the hills.

Begin with a quieter waterfall experience surrounded by forest - a short nature walk, forest trail and photography stop.
Continue toward one of Mizoram's most dramatic waterfalls, experienced from its viewing area amid steep forested hills.

Tuirihiau Falls - The Hidden One
A quieter, lesser-known waterfall experience.
Vantawng Falls - The Grand One
Mizoram's highest waterfall. Primarily a viewpoint experience.

Day 03
THENZAWL - CHAMPHAI
Approx. 180 km · 6-7 hrs
An early departure takes us further into Mizoram, following winding mountain roads toward Champhai.
The road becomes part of the experience - mountain viewpoints, forested roads, village landscapes, tea stops, local lunch, photography.
As the landscape opens up, the broad Champhai valley appears beyond the ridges - Mizoram's famed "Rice Bowl," its terraced paddy fields cascading down the hillsides.
It's going to be a Champai sunset.

Approx. 65 km round trip · 3 hrs
Drive out to Zokhawthar, the last Indian town on the India-Myanmar frontier, and browse the border market for local, affordable goods - textiles, snacks, and cross-border trade items, all on the Indian side.
Take a look at the Tiau River, marking the international boundary.
Champhai Flower Fields
A quieter, colourful stop close to town - orchid gardens and open flower fields set against the hills.
Travel back into Champhai and watch the sunset from a scenic spot.
