Privacy Policy for Mizan-e-Islam
Mizan-e-Islam (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a premium AI-driven Islamic lifestyle application built with Flutter. We are committed to protecting your privacy while delivering a high-end spiritual experience. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App on Android or iOS.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We design Mizan-e-Islam with minimal data collection and maximum on-device processing. We only collect what is strictly necessary for the features you use.
a. Information You Provide
Prayer progress, Tasbih counters, Quran/Hadith reading status, and dashboard preferences (stored locally on your device).
Any optional feedback or support requests you send us via in-app forms or email.
b. Automatically Collected Information
Precise Location Data: When you use the Sacred Spaces (Mosque Locator) feature, we access your device’s live location (via Google Maps SDK) to show nearby mosques within 10 km and provide turn-by-turn navigation. Location is not stored by us after the session ends.
Device and Usage Data: Basic technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, and anonymized usage statistics (e.g., which features you open, session duration). This helps us improve performance and fix bugs.
AI Insights Data: Your prayer routine and dashboard activity are analyzed locally on your device to generate personalized suggestions (e.g., “Read Surah Al-Waqi’ah now”). No personal data is sent to external servers for AI processing.
We do not collect:
Name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information (unless you voluntarily contact support).
Religious or spiritual data beyond what you choose to track locally.
Photos, contacts, microphone, or camera access.
We use the collected information solely to:
Provide core features (mosque locator, Tasbih, prayer tracker, calendar, Quran reader).
Deliver real-time AI insights and spiritual reflectors.
Improve app performance, stability, and user experience through anonymized analytics.
Respond to your support requests.
Comply with legal obligations.

All spiritual progress is stored locally on your device.

If you uninstall the App, all local data is deleted.
We do not share your personal or spiritual data except with service providers (Google Maps, Overpass) strictly necessary for the features, or when legally required.
Revoke location access anytime in device settings.
Delete all local data by clearing app storage.

The App is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Mizan-e-Islam is developed in Pakistan. When data is sent to Google, it may be transferred outside Pakistan with appropriate safeguards.
