I am Miryam Mi-Ying Huang (広田ミリアム, Mirjam). I am a final year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Southern California. I am advised by Prof. Jiapeng Zhang and I work closely with Prof. Shang-Hua Teng. My research interests lie in cryptography and complexity theory, with an emphasis on quantum and post-quantum cryptography as well as communication complexity.
I am visiting Simons Institute Summer Cluster on Quantum Computing Program in 2025 and 2026.

Mijn naam is Mirjam: I was named Miryam, in remembrance of my multi-heritage family, and was later given the name Mi-Ying to echo Mirjam/Miryam/Miriam in Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien. Both Mi-Ying and Miryam are my legal names.
