Mitrio — Privacy Policy Effective Date: 27 March 2026

1. Introduction

Mitrio ("the App") is a domestic helper management application designed to help employers in Singapore track helper details, payment schedules, pass expiry dates, and levy payments. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

By using Mitrio, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use Mitrio:

• Full name, email address, and phone number (employer profile)

• Helper details including name, nationality, pass expiry date, salary amount, salary payment day, levy amount, levy payment day, and GIRO status

• Payment log records including date, amount, and payment method

• Device information for push notification delivery

3. How We Store Your Data

All data entered into Mitrio is stored securely on Google Cloud servers via Firebase, a platform provided by Google LLC. We have implemented industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Data is stored in the asia-southeast1 region (Singapore).

We do not store work pass numbers or any official MOM (Ministry of Manpower) document details. Data accuracy is entirely dependent on what you enter into the App — Mitrio does not verify or cross-check any information with external sources.

4. Screenshot and Screen Recording Disclaimer

Mitrio displays personal information about you and your helpers on screen. If you choose to take screenshots, screen recordings, or share your screen while using the App, any personal information visible on screen may be captured and shared. You are solely responsible for any data that leaves the App as a result of screenshots or screen sharing. Mitrio and its developers are not liable for any data exposure resulting from user-initiated screenshots or screen recordings.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

• To display your employer profile and helper details within the App

• To calculate and display upcoming salary and levy payment dates

• To send push notifications reminding you of upcoming salary, levy, and pass expiry dates

• To maintain your payment history log within the App

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information — including your email address, phone number, helper details, salary information, or pass expiry data — with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

We use the following third-party services solely to operate the App:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — for authentication, database storage, and push notifications

These services are bound by their own privacy policies and are used only to the extent necessary to provide the App's functionality.

7. PDPA Compliance

Mitrio is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore. We collect only the personal data necessary for the App's functionality, retain data only as long as necessary, and provide you with the ability to update or delete your data at any time through the App.

8. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to delete your account or remove a helper, all associated data is permanently deleted from our servers. We do not retain backups of deleted data beyond our standard backup cycle.

9. Children's Privacy

Mitrio is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
