Biography

My name is Pari Vachhani, and I’m a senior materials chemistry student at UT Austin. At my previous internship with NASA, I worked on Li–S all solid-state batteries and became fascinated by their potential for high energy-density and safer energy storage devices for electric vehicle applications. I joined Dr. Mitlin’s lab in Fall 2025, where I’m continuing to explore solid-state materials through a project focused on NASICON solid-electrolytes. In my free time, I like to go to music festivals, solve Rubik’s cubes, and try different coffee shops around the city!
