Callum is a PhD Candidate in the Materials Science Engineering program through the Texas Materials Institute. He joined the lab in Fall 2023 and is currently working towards a PhD. His work focuses on the relationships between the synthesis, microstructure, and performance of solid state electrolytes for Li, Na, and K metal batteries. He received a Bachelors of Science in Physics and Astronomy from UT Austin in 2018, as well as a 7-12 teaching certificate which he used to teach high school IB physics and chemistry for 4 years in the Austin area. In his personal time, he enjoys pickleball, cycling, board games, and video games.
