AT ANTHROPOLOGICAL SURVEY OF INDIA

1) Project: Type-2 Diabetes in Western India 

A study conducted among the Mathur population of Udaipur. 

2) Project: DNA polymorphism in Contemporary Human population 

A study has been conducted among the Tai-Khamti population of Arunachal Pradesh.   

A study has been conducted among the Gadia Lohar Community of Rajasthan 

A study has been conducted among the Garasia tribal population of Rajasthan.

A study has been conducted among the Siddi community of Gujarat. 

A study has been conducted among the Dubla of Daman and Due. 

3) Project: Biocultural diversity, Environment and Sustainable development (Village study with special reference to social change in rural setup)   

A study has been conducted at Manmow village of Arunachal Pradesh (one month field work) and report has been submitted to Anthropological Survey of India.

A study has been conducted at Nana Sanja Village of Gujarat (2 months field work) and report has been submitted to Anthropological Survey of India

A study has been conducted at Radhvanaj Village of Gujarat 

4) Project: Community Genetics: Organized the following health camps as team leader

Health Awareness and Screening camp among the Saharia Tribal population of Rajasthan in 2013.

Health Awareness and Screening camp among the Garasia Tribal population of Rajasthan in 2014.

Health Awareness and Screening camp among the Siddi Tribal population of Gujarat in 2014.

Health Awareness and Screening camp among the Dubla of Daman and Diu in 2015.

5) Project: Denotified, Nomadic and Seminomadic Population under NITI Aayog, New Delhi. 

Conducted extensive study among the Budga Jangam of Karnataka in 2019-2020. 

Conducted extensive study among the Budaga Jangam of Tamil Nadu in 2021.

7) National Project: Gut Microbiome Genomic Diversity among the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups of India (2023- present): At the responsibility of Principal Investigator.

8) Haemoglobinopathies in Northeast India with special reference to selective advantages (Reports have been submitted to Dibrugarh University on 4 communities i.e., Moran, Mishing, Tai-Khamyang and Munda population of Northeast India.
