Dr. Mithun Mohan works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NITK), Surathkal, Karnataka, India. He received his Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering (specialized in Transportation Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India. He also received his Master's degree in Transportation Engineering from IIT Roorkee and Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Kerala University. His main areas of interest are Traffic Flow Modeling and Traffic Safety.
