About Me

Hi, I’m Ms. Mitchener!

I live in Greensboro with my two kids, Malachi and Ezra, and my husband, Mitch. We love spending Saturdays at the nearby Greensboro Science Center and park.

My husband, Mitch, is a High School History teacher and former Appalachian State football player who currently coaches at Eastern Guilford High School, where he also teaches, so our house is a little football crazy. 

I have a dog, named Ellie, who may make an appearance in class from time to time but don't worry she's pretty well-behaved and just loves to listen-in.

I enjoy reading, taking photos, traveling, listening to podcasts and hiking with my family. 

I am so thrilled to be your teacher and cannot wait to get to know you and hopefully your families!
