Mitchell's Farm and Market was founded in 2020 by first-generation farmers Brian and Angie Mitchell.

Brian, a 24-year US Army veteran and truck driver, was tired of all the traveling and wanted to support his wife's visions. So they bought a piece of land in Shepherdsville, KY and he went to work first building garden beds then a greenhouse. Nearly 5 years later, he has added to that garden area, built a chicken coop and enclosure, and will soon be adding more. 

Angie Mitchell wanted to know where the food she put on her family's table came from.  She found a passion in this and discovered that she wanted to be able to provide quality foods to her local community at affordable prices. 

Mitchells Farm & Market grows fruits and vegetables as well as uses these items in many of the delicious products that fill our farm market booth. We also raise bees for honey and chickens for eggs. Our products can be purchased directly from the farm or visit our booth at the Shepherdsville Farm Market which runs May through September.
