Young Professional

In the years since I graduated from the University of Georgia, I have held a number of roles within well-established financial services and professional services institutions. Through these roles, I've worked with industry leaders and experts to develop a diverse skillset. My professional experience has helped laid the foundation for the analytical framework I bring to my research and writing. None of my writing is intended to be a reflection of my employers' views.

During my time with Merion West, I conducted outreach to well-known public figures and intellectuals ranging from Professor Alan Dershowitz, UCLA Law Professor Eugene Volokh, Senator Johnny Isakson, Senator Joe Lieberman, Professor Jonathan Haidt, and Yaron Brook of the Ayn Rand Institute.

In the years since I began writing, my work has been featured at Real Clear Markets, The Epoch Times, Foundation for Economic Education, Zerohedge, and Bongino.com among others.

Personal Inspirations

As a child or young adult, you are often asked: Who is your inspiration? You may be assigned a homework assignment asking you to choose one public figure and to explain your rationale for selecting him/her. Through that research on that public figure, you are likely to find that he or she has prioritized learning a skill or sharpening an existing skill. If I've learned anything throughout my young career, it is that learning does not stop when you graduate from school and your proclivity towards learning is what drives personal and professional growth.  With all of this said, I've been inspired by Stanford's Thomas Sowell and his continuous efforts (41 books and counting) to educate the public on the challenges of the day.

My favorite Thomas Sowell quote: “It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.”

Activism

As an activist, I've dedicated a substantial share of my free time to refining my knowledge of the economic, political, and social issues of the day. In doing this, I've met a number of influential figures including former Congressman Justin Amash, former Congressman Jody Hice, Senator Ted Cruz, and Senator Tim Scott.

Education

In May 2017, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Finance and a Certificate in Legal Studies. During the summer of 2017, I interned for Congressman Jody Hice, as he represented the Georgia 10th District, which includes Athens, Georgia and the University of Georgia. Following this internship, I returned to the University of Georgia to complete a Master in the Study of Law (M.S.L.) through the University of Georgia School of Law. The M.S.L. program allowed me to take a variety of Juris Doctor-level courses, so I specialized in Constitutional Law. My education has greatly shaped my research and analysis.
