Spanish for Beginners

For kids ages 4-10 and their parents, learn Spanish through stories, songs and games. Each week consists of a different theme. Students will learn everyday dialogue and key vocabulary.

Los Meses del Año (Months of the Year)
Mi Cumpleaños (My Birthday)
Mi Familia (My Family)
Animales (Animals)

Sample Class Schedule

2:00 pm - 2:10 pm Opening Circle time

During circle time, kids will interact with others and sing ice-breaking songs to make friends and get comfortable speaking Spanish.

2:10 pm - 2:25 pm Storytime

Storytime follows with books according to the weekly theme. This will help expand vocabulary and work on listening skills.

2:25 pm - 2:50 pm Activity/Games

During Activity time, the children will engage in various activities according to the theme to help their vocabulary grow and become memorable.

2:50 pm - 3:00 pm Closing Circle/Dismissal

Finally, everyone will wrap up the lesson with what they learned and a goodbye song!
