A typical example:
You have a guitar Amp and a Midi Effect Processor.
To control the Effect Processor you use a Midi Foot Controller.
In addition you need one or multiple Foot Switches to control the Amp Channels, Boost and Reverb.
To get your favorite sound you need to remember and set all the right switches! Song for song, part for part,...
Replacing your Foot Switch by the MISWINO Midi Switch you no longer need to remember all the switch settings!
You setup your favorite sound and store it under a single Midi Program Number.
In studio or live - simply select the Midi Program Number and the sound is yours!
A nice side effect is, that only the midi cable is going to the stage...
The MISWINO Midi Switch gets connected via regular 1/4 " mono or stereo jack cables to the Foot Switch input of your Amp.
Instead of using your amp footswitch to turn e.g. reverb on or off, you connect it to the MISWINO switch connectors and can control it manually by the yellow channel buttons or by a stored switch combination, assigned to a midi program number.
Connect the Midi Out of your Midi Foot Controller or the Midi Effect Processor to the Midi In of the MISWINO.
The switch combinations of eight independent switches get stored under a midi program number.
The MISWINO Midi Switch can store 512 different switch combinations organized in 4 banks of 128 programs.
As soon as a Midi Program Change is received from either the Midi Foot Controller or the Midi Effect Processor the previously stored Switch Setting gets applied.
So MISWINO behaves as a regular midi device - but instead of applying e.g. a certain effect it sets a Switch Combination.
But that's not all - MISWINO has even more features...
