In November-December 2022, Mr. Wanter was on a creative journey in the Netherlands. One of the results was a series of graphic and pictorial works "Shining Forest" and some additional materials. 72 artworks of small size were created (mostly 19 x 13.5 cm). The main material is acrylic and acrylic markers, kraft paper.
Then, on December 17, 38 artworks were released (scattered) in various public places in the center of Rotterdam: in the area of Cubic Houses, Street Blaak, Station Blaak, Maritime Museum Harbour. 16 works mysteriously disappeared on the morning of December 18 (they were in the same folder, which, most likely, was lost on the streets of Witte de With, Hartmansstraat, Binnenwegplein, Coolsingel, Beurstraverse). Their fate is unknown. The author kept 18 works for himself. However, all images have been digitized.

The series "Shining Forest" is free fantasies, expressive flashes, impulsive improvisations. On the one hand, they can refer to such areas as the power of life, growth, nature, the unity of the environment, openness, eternity. On the other hand, this is an attempt to play, to repeat the natural aesthetics of nature. Line and color become conductors of growth force. The counterpoint within the series is a set of "Windows" pictures, from which conveys a feeling of closeness and pressure, energy locked inside, which is characteristic of human beings. A hint of this closeness is a set of pictures "Mussels". They are made according to the principle of free movement of the "feather of nature", but all living things in them are hidden inside the shell.
