Variety of visual artwork method assignments, which consists of using various techniques, including 2D, 3D, and digital artmaking for creating art in classrooms ranging from grades PK-12
Objective was create who we are, where we will be in 10 years, what art media do we like, who inspired me to teach art, and anything else I would like the class to learn about me. We can create the accordion book using any medium of our liking-collage, watercolor, ink, illustration, etc.
I used designed scrapbook paper and Canva to design book pages before printing and cutting them out and cluing them to my accordion book.
The objective is to create a layering collage, beginning with a sketch that was inspired by a prompt. Materials used were a 6"x9" colored construction paper, scissors, Xacto knife, glue sticks, pencil and eraser. Finalized by a short reflection of 300 words describing my prompts and using the appropriate vocabulary.
I recreated the Colosseum of the Rome using a layering technique using construction paper.
Spaces & Place, 3D Paper Sculptures Title:Spaces & Places, self & others
The objective is for students to come up with ideas based on the prompt selected that was provided about space and place. Students had to first create a mind map to brainstorm their unique ideas. The final goal is for students to create a 3D paper sculpture to visually communicate their prompt choice selection and write a 300 reflection using the appropriate vocabulary.
I wanted to recreate a space in Paris that is an inclusive restaurant for all people, regardless of their financial status.
SEA Project and Documentation
This project is designed to consider spaces and places as canvases/ settings for artistic engagement.
The objective is to create a one page poster proposal for our SEA plan. With my partner we need to brainstorm ideas for our SEA that will be taking place in the Department of Art & Design.

The objective: Is to consider a place or space as a setting for socially engaged art. We will document the experience and provide a poster of day and time and duration of art intervention or experience.

This activity consisted of creating a mixed media artwork that reimagines an ordinary object or concept in a way that communicates something meaningful about our your lived experiences or social roles, such as making something small big, highlighting something normally ignored, or visualizing something invisible.
This activity focused on learning four watercolor techniques—wet-on-dry, gradient, dry brush, and wet-on-wet—by following an instructional video created by a classmate as part of their lesson plan assignment for future students.
