About Me

Hello Families!

My name is Miss Laino and I will be your student’s teacher for second grade at Central Elementary School. I am looking forward to a great school year!

Second grade is an exciting time for your student and an important part of setting up future success in school. We’re going to learn new concepts, create exciting projects, and work together as a team. It is my goal to provide all students with a welcoming, fun, and empowering environment full of learning.

A little bit about me- Last year, I taught 4th grade at Central Elementary, but I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year! I have my master's degree in early childhood education, as well as about seven/eight years of experience in the classroom (it's hard to keep track of the years!). I spend most of my free time with my dog, Penny. She's a nut, but I love her! I love to read and do arts and crafts. Fall is my favorite time of year, which is also when my birthday is :).
