Reading:
Epic! is digital library that boasts 25,000 fiction and nonfiction books. This is a great classroom resource for teachers to use in order to engage students and promote literacy while also incorporating technology.
Reading Resource is a website that offers help and information to parents and educators and specifically focuses on improving literacy among Dyslexic children. Worksheets, activity videos, and reading strategies for teachers to use are just a few of the variety of resources that the website makes available.
Raz-Kids is a classroom literacy resource where students can go to practice reading skills. Features include options for the student to record themselves reading aloud, a huge e-book library, quizzes that track progress, and a mobile app for convenient access outside the classroom.
Writing:
WriteReader is a platform designed to help young students in elementary school create and write multimedia stories. Students can hear the words they are typing sounded out, record audio, and add images on any page of the book they are writing. Teachers can also use their own account on the website to view their students' work, make corrections to their writing, and make helpful suggestions. Download and print features are also available to teachers and students which makes it easy for families to view their child's work as well.

Resources for Early Learning is a website that is rich in information and offers an option to search a catalog of activity plans. There are sections for educators, parents, and students on the website that offer subjects of interest for each category. Teachers can find activity ideas, parents can watch parenting videos, and children can use the website to play learning games.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children works to advance early education through research-based practice. Members can gain access to resources that include ideas for implementing developmentally appropriate practice, retail discounts, access to articles, and an annual conference.
The Southern Early Childhood Association is a professional organization for educators. Members can benefit from access to articles, practical tips and printouts, and an annual conference. Members are also able to connect with other early childhood educators and participate in national service projects.
